Koh Lipe is a small island at the far south of the Andaman, with water clear enough to see the sand and a ten-minute walk from one beach to the next. Here is how to get there, when to go, and what to bring.
Getting to Koh Lipe
Every route sails from Pak Bara pier in Satun. Fly into Hat Yai and a van-plus-boat transfer covers the whole trip on one ticket.
When to go
| Season | Sea | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Nov – Apr | Calm and clearest | Some crossings pause in the monsoon — check the timetable before booking |
| May – Oct | Choppy in spells |
